Introduction to T’ai Chi
A Free Introductory Workshop

Location: East School Building gym, 90 Oak St, Natick, MA
Description:
T’ai Chi is an ancient form of exercise that originated in ancient China as a martial art. Today it is more often taught as a set of gentle and meditative movements that improve the flow of energy in our body leading to greater awareness, calmness and a greater sense of well-being.
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn what T’ai Chi is and where it came from
- Learn basics of posture, stepping and breathing
- Learn several of the T’ai Chi movements
- Learn a mini-routine of movements
- Watch a demonstration of the full form of movements
- Meet the T’ai Chi instructor
If you’re interested in the T’ai Chi classes, but not sure what they are all about, this is a great opportunity to get a taste. Classes start the following Monday.
Please note that masks must be worn at all times during the workshop and will also be required during classes.
