This class will take place on Tuesdays at 2:30 starting on July 20th. It will run for 4 weeks ending on August 10th . You can use the link above to join the class.
In this 4-week course we will focus on the very important T’ai Chi move known as Grasp the Sparrow’s Tail through extensive practice and exploration.
What makes Grasp The Sparrow’s tail so important is that this move is made up of 4 smaller movements that also represent 4 primary expressions of energy (or “jings”) in T’ai Chi. These are:
- Ward Off (or “Peng”)
- Roll Back (or “Lu”)
- Press (or “Ji”)
- Push (or “An”)
